Meet Our Therapists
Amber B Benton
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, MA, LCMHC

Life can be difficult and challenging. My commitment as your therapist is to create a safe and supportive space to develop trust and maintain confidentiality. Through my training and experience, my hope is to empower and encourage you to channel your internal resources in an effort to better cope with the struggles you are facing. I see you as the real "expert" of your life, and believe you have the capabilities necessary for change. I believe in a holistic approach to growth and healing that takes into consideration our relationships, social and cultural backgrounds, physical health, and spirituality.
My special interests include women's issues, life transitions and adjustments, anxiety, spirituality, addictions, and grief and loss. Although I am trained in spiritually-integrated psychotherapy, I am respectful of your beliefs and will not impose my beliefs on you. Our clinicians are trained to assist clients who desire to integrate faith and/or spirituality into their therapeutic work, although this is never a requirement.

Christa G. Reid
MSW, LCSW-A, LCAS-A

I am a Christian Social Worker with over 20 years of experience, working alongside children and families to promote well-being and stability while providing coping skills, intervention, and case management. I believe for every storm in our life, there is a bright rainbow at the end. Sometimes, we need a nonjudgmental person to lend an ear while discussing our past traumas, hurt, and issues we have endured. Therapy should focus on the healing of the past and moving forward to become the best version of ourselves, find our purpose, and live it to the fullest.
My specialty is working with children and families to help navigate through everyday stress and provide therapeutic coping skills that repair gaps in the family unit. Areas of strength include diagnosing and treating trauma due to abuse and neglect, helping children overcome anxiety and depression, and working with children and families affected by divorce.
I utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play/art therapies, Trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, strength-based, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques.
